Description

USGBC Local Government Leadership Summit

May 27, 2026, 1pm - 4pm

Unlock regional insights and USGBC tools for sustainable and resilient communities. Join local government leaders from the Bay Area and across California as we explore regional successes, emerging challenges, and new opportunities to accelerate climate and sustainability goals. This summit will highlight practical strategies and collaborative approaches you can bring back to your community. USGBC experts will share tools and programs to help local governments turn sustainability ambitions into action, including LEED, LEED for Cities, and our education, policy and planning resources.

We invite all local government elected and appointed officials and staff to consider attending, including city and county planners, sustainability and resilience teams, building and facility managers, city/county managers, board and commission members, mayors, council members and county executives.  State and regional governments and NGOs that work directly with cities, towns and counties are encouraged to register as well.

Participants with their LEED GA or LEED AP will receive 3 continuing education units.

Space is limited and seats are first-come, first-served.
